Sept.-Oct.- and some of Nov.

Wow a long time has past since I last wrote in this blog so I will start with the months I missed.
In September i did much of the same thing 1) wrote more from Great Grandmas's Journal 2) Worked at the cannery and worked at the storehouse.
In October the month was the same as October with working on the journal and with working at the storehouse and working at the cannery. On the 19th we celebrated Julie's birthday by going to Red Lobster it was great fun and Julie got great gifts from mom and from Julius and great birthday cards. On the 27th we had our yearly Family Halloween party. This year I decided to dress up as a 1950's Housewife. My oufit consisted of my Church outfit the black skirt with the black and white toop with my black shoes and I wore over that an Apron and I carried with me a rolling pin, I also had on a yellow and white bracelet big chunky white and yellow necklace and earrings I had made them special for me with Mindi Henderson. It was fun making the jewlery and fun wearing it my outfit looked great. The party was great and the whole family had a great time. Then we come to the last days in October when my parents were out of town we had no trick or treaters on the 30th but we sis have some stop by on Halloween we had candy so we passed it out then at 9:00pm we had 3 more trick or treaters stop bye but we had run out of candy so I was the one to tell them so that we had run out and the were okay with it and understood. There costumes were interesting to one was dressed up a baby complete the outfit with a diaper it was indeed a sight.
Now I made it to November and the weather was finially starting to cool down and it was my Birthday on November 1st. The day started out good by my mom dropping me off for work and picking me up later as a birthday present. We then that night went to Dave and Busters game resturaunt It was so much fun .We all had great food. I had the fried Shrimp and we then all played great games. We all played so much that we pooled our winnigs and I got a total of 1800 or more tickets so I looked at what to get and a got a giant carebear and small plush dolphin and a really long pixie stick. It was really fun there then we went home to open my presents and open my birthday cards. I got great b-day cards and great prensents I got a Disney puzzle a trip to a Hairspray the musical, some nice jewlery and a gift card to a great store and I got money from my aunt cool. I also got other cool things It was a great birthday and a lot of people on facebook gave me Birthday wishes so that was sure nice of them. It was a great day. Then the rest of days in November I went again to the Family History wrote the journal, went to the Cannery, and went to the Storehouse and helped out. Then on the 6th of November Julie, Julius, Ben and I all went to the Arizona State Fair it was a fun trip. I got 20 tickets to spend Ben and I went on the ski lift then I shared a giant Turkey leg with Julie then we went on the Ferris Wheel then Ben and I went on a ride called the Haunted Mansion it was a small ride that had minimal scary thrills but it was fun. Then all three of us me Ben and Julie went on this big slide called the Euro Slide it was a long climb to the top but it was really fun flying down to the bottom of the slide on a little pad that you sat on it was great fun. I also shared some shaved Ice with julie. We also went to the Animal exhibit and saw the farm animals we saw baby pigs and giant goats and baby goats and giant cows and we saw chickens and turkeys too it was also great fun. One of the last thing I remember doing was playing a cup game where you had to get balls to land on specially colored cup tops and if you got them on the colored cup top you would win a prize I got 15 balls and managed to get 3 onto colored tops I had won three prizes I got 2 colored lizard stuff animals and a stuffed brown cow toy it was hard but great fun. I also saw an art exbit at the Temple Vistors Center. Since the 8th I have been to the Family History center for the journal been to the Cannery and to the Storehouse and that has been my daily rountine.
Where today it is the 11th of November and I remember my grandfather because today would have been his 83 birthday he passed away almost 2 years ago. So I miss him and today I wish him a heavenly Happy Birthday. Well this ends this blog post I will try to be current next time bye.

July-Aug

Well in July I spent the month going to the Family History Center and by going on some trips.
1) First with the Family History Center I have been working on typing up my Great-Grandmothers Journals into Word Documents so that they can be used to be made into Cds
2)I went to my Family Reunion at the end of the month it was really great and fun. I got to see all my cousins and my aunts and uncles.
3) While there i got to dine on more great Danger Dawgs from my Aunt and Uncles hot dog shop once at this Springville World Music Festival which was great. There was me mom and Johnny and Ben there it was fun. And the second time eating a Danger Dawg was the next day when I went to the reunion.
Now in August things have been different since the Humanitarian Center is going to be under construction and moved to a new place ,I cant volunteer there in the same capacity. So this month I have been deciding to do my volunteer work at three places the Family History Center, The Bishop Storehouse and, the Cannery. I love those places especially the storehouse it is great to help out since i have the resources to do so. Anyways that is mainly it next time I will be better at keeping my blog and make sure to keep you informed as the other months go bye. The End

May-June

Well i realized today that i forgot to write for May so this is what happened. In May i was again at my volunteer duties at the Humanitarian Center and the Family History Center. At the Humanitarian Center i made quilt squares and picked sheets for the backs of quilts. At the Family History Center I have finished dictating another one of Great Grandma's Journals. Now that makes 3 finished I think. So that was good. Also during that time I had great FHE's and great Sundays. Too say the least May went by very quickly but it was fun while May lasted.
June Has been good as well though we are just starting it this is the month that Jonny comes home. That will be neat. Also It has been interesting to be at home with Ben and Julie. They will be great times had by all when we are all together with Jonny. Bring on the Fun. So ends May recap and some of June. When more fun things happen I will report them. Until then bye for now.

Its April!

So its April already my the year has gone by quickly. Well these days i have been working hard at the humanatarin center and the Family History Center. At the Humanatarian Center I have been taking out the threads of sheets to make them into backs for quilts and at home I have been cutting quilt squares to make for the top of quilts. At the Family History Center I am working on a project of taking my Great Grandma's Journals and typing each one of them into my zip drive to make into cd's for people to share. It is a big project as seeing as there are 15 to do. Also this month we had General Conference and Easter in the same weekend. Easter was good I dyed Easter Eggs and got to hunt for my Easter Basket even though I am an old kid. Also we had conference all the takes were so good. They were wonderful. I also won two contests one for free clothing from the tempe arts festival and one from Ladies Night at the Desert Book Store on priesthood night. Also this month I get to go to Utah to see my sister graduate that will be fun! Well the month has been great so for and it will get better from here. Here's to a great month! Hazah!

Its March!

So we are into the third week in March. So here is the question, Is their madness now in your life or is their luck? With me right now the is a little of both. Madness because one i would like to be financially employed but its not in the cards right now. But luck because i have a great volunteering gig where i get to go to two great places, The Family History center and two is The Humanitarian Center. These places are great i meet the best people there and i get to find great articles of family history that pertain to our line. So in this March month try to find the luck in days and do your best to overcome the madness days. And have a great March 17. The luckiest day in March. Here wishes you get a wee bit of Irish Luck for a wee little Leprechaun. Have a great Month of March. And also a side note Happy Birthday to you Brother Jonny!

Feburary 2010

So its February the month of love. My thoughts turn this month to the many people who i care about, my brothers and my sisters and my parents. To those dear friends who have known for me years and for the new friends i make every day. I have a new friend who is not shy to speak to anyone, she comes right up to them and introduces herself. If will could all be like this girl then oh how great our world would be. So has the love holiday approaches think of those who have touched your live and reach out to those who lives need to be touched. Pass the love on. Let it be like a smile you love it so much you want to pass it on. So that is my advice this month, pass the love around. Love Genevieve!
